SARITAH (Band) - BIO

ROOTS/SOUL/REGGAE Singer/Songwriter

South Korean born, raised in Perth and based in Melbourne, SARITAH (sa-REE-ta) has built a loyal fan base around the world since the release of her debut album ‘Gratitude’ in 2004.  A festival favourite, Saritah has toured consistently both within Australia and overseas performing over 500 live shows.

Inspiring, uplifting and playfully powerful, Saritah’s live shows are colourful celebrations of life.  Whether delivering soulful acoustic guitar, rockin rootsy reggae, dancehall or ska, Saritah loves to connect with the audience.  Lyrically, positivity sits beside global issues, and her vocals are delivered with a captivating blend of attitude and grace.

In her latest album ‘Ancient Forward’, released in August 2009, a worldly yet intimate album in a vibrant, eclectic style that Saritah has cemented as her own and has confirmed that Saritah is one of Australia’s most talented and exciting artists, with something to say.
