family was always involved in music, coming down through many
generations, music underlies Luna's heritage. Her uncle Junior Marvin

also played a huge part as a mentor in the early stages of her career.
Luna flew to Kingston, Jamaica to complete her first recordings with her
uncle at the age of sixteen. At the age of nineteen Luna worked with her
first band, named The I-Rise Band. After gaining some performance

contains elements of Reggae to R&B, down to Jazz, and a spice of
Dancehall. Some tunes were even composed during her mid-teens. |
